Lindsay Lohan is Naked, TV for Kids at Night, and Idols on iTunes.

The Dude on the Right

With the Gotz family running through the winter cold bug, Stu didn’t want to
take a chance and infect me (Thanks, Stu!), so I’m flying solo in what normally
would be a "Weekend Wrap-Up" podcast.

Instead, this podcast starts
with much jubilation as

Lindsay Lohan has finally gotten naked
for the rest of us to see!

Sure, I
could probably fill the entire podcast of my analysis of Lindsay naked, but to
change things up a bit I also question why the NBC show
"My
Dad is Better Than Your Dad"
is on at 9PM on the east and west coast when
its target kid audience should probably be getting ready for bed, I give my
analysis of NASCAR’s Daytona 500 from Sunday, and I also wonder who will
actually be buying performances of the "American Idol" contestants via iTunes.

And, oh yea, in giving you my weekend wrap-up I did see

"Jumper"
and

"Definitely, Maybe,"
but my weekend also resulted in my tale of animation
woe as I pretty much blew-up all of my work on our upcoming animated review of
"Sweeney Todd," mostly because I’m an idiot.

Thanks for listening!

What’s New? A Podcast of: Why Johnny Fairplay Might be Gone, Goodbye Josiah, TV is Almost Back, and Getting Howard Stern off the Air.

The Dude on the Right is here for his Valentine’s Day podcast, and he doesn’t talk about love. Instead The Dude gives his analysis on Johnny Fairplay being booted from “Survivor: Micronesia” last week, feeling bad for Josiah who’s back living in his car after “American Idol,” and being happy some of his favorite TV shows will be back, soon. He is also worried that Howard Stern might be off the air soon recalling the movie “Spies Like Us” and the government looking to shoot down a “broken, spy” satellite.

Why Johnny Fairplay Might be Gone, Goodbye Josiah, TV is Almost Back, and Getting Howard Stern off the Air.

By:

The Dude on the Right

First, to our dudette listeners, Happy Valentine’s Day!  To our dude
listeners, it’s Thursday.

Anyway, TV has, or will be soon, kicking back into
gear, and

during this podcast
I give you my reason why Johnny Fairplay looked to get
his butt off of the island as soon as possible in last week’s "Survivor:
Micronesia."  I was also sad to see that Josiah is probably back living in
his car after being booted from "American Idol."  The good news is that
some of my favorite shows, like "How I Met Your Mother," "The Big Bang Theory,"
"My Name is Earl," and "30 Rock," will be back on the air in a little over a
month!

Also on my topic of discussion is a potential government conspiracy
coming in the next week or so.  It has to do with trying to shoot down a
government spy satellite, the movie "Spies Like Us," the Sirius and XM Satellite
radio merger, and the government’s, I mean radio industry’s, last chance to get
Howard Stern off the air.  I’ll just tease it with this:  Sirius has
three satellites in space, I think.  The government has three shots to take
down the spy satellite.  Hmm?

What’s New? A Podcast of: Stu & The Dude’s Weekend Wrap-Up! At the Movies, Watching the Grammy’s, A Song Not for The Grammy’s, and The Dude isn’t a Pimp.

Stu Gotz and The Dude on the Right finally got back together for their “Weekend Wrap-Up!” podcast, maybe just to stay warm. The Dude talks about The Grammy Awards and then spotlights a song that probably has no chance to win one, while Stu worries if his kids should see “The Spiderwick Chonicles.” The Dude can’t help with the “Spider” movie, but he does tell Stu about “Fool’s Gold” and the Vince Vaughn comedy movie, while Stu saw “Atonement” and “The Nanny Diaries,” but warns The Dude that those who hire a nanny might not get the funny of the latter.

Stu & The Dude’s Weekend Wrap-Up! At the Movies, Watching the Grammy’s, A Song Not for The Grammy’s, and The Dude isn’t a Pimp.

Maybe it took the bone-chilling cold, or maybe the threat of snow, or just the
never-ending winter, but whatever the reason Stu Gotz and I were able to get
back together for a new episode of

“Stu & The Dude’s Weekend Wrap-Up!” podcast
. First off, I won’t apologize
for offending anyone with some of our content for this podcast because it is
labeled “Mature,” but Stu is pissed at the ongoing writer’s strike and he can’t
take it anymore. Meanwhile I give some quick Grammy Award talk followed by
spotlighting a song by
Riskay – The
Drama Queen
, which most likely has no shot in hell at winning a Grammy
Award. And no, I’m not a pimp.

But as is usually the case with our weekend wrap-up we also talk about
movies. Stu mentions his seeing the movie “Atonement” in the theater and
catching “The Nanny Diaries” via his Netflix queue, while I get to break the
news to him that the Paris Hilton movie “The Hottie & The Nottie” didn’t do too
well at the theaters, but I did see

“Fool’s Gold”
and

“Vince Vaughn’s Wild West Comedy Show….”
We also discuss

“The Spiderwick Chronicles”
because Stu’s kids want to see the flick. It is
rated PG, but Stu wonders just how kid-friendly it is especially after his
disaster in letting his kids see

“Zathura.”

Here’s
for hope and
thanks for listening!

What’s New? A Podcast of: Idol’s Going to Hollywood, “Survivor” Has Fake Boobs, and Why I Voted for Barack Obama, and a DVD Review of “Once.”

The Dude on the Right is still trying to get settled in to doing DVD reviews, so this time he watched a movie he already loved, and still loves, and thinks you might love, namely the movie “Once.” He also did a solo podcast about hope, where he hopes Paula Abdul finally gives good audio now that “American Idol” is going to Hollywood, hopes the dudettes with the fake boobs stay awhile on “Survivor: Micronesia,” and as much as he hopes for the future of the United States, he also gives, during the podcast, some reasons why he likes Barack Obama over Hillary Clinton. Bring on John McCain!

Idol’s Going to Hollywood, “Survivor” Has Fake Boobs, and Why I Voted for Barack Obama.

By:

The Dude on the Right

This Thursday podcast
gives me reason for hope.  One part of hope deals
with the fact that "American Idol" is now moving on to Hollywood, where
hopefully Paula Abdul will go into full Paula mode, complete with sound clips
making podcasts just a little more exciting.  A second part of hope goes
along with the new season of "Survivor: Micronesia," where we have favorites vs.
fans, but more importantly, we have more women with fake boobs than ever before,
and the hope that they last for most of the season.

I suppose not really a
reason for hope, but this election season is showing just how messed up our
election process is.  Conservative Republicans, or at least those who are
the supposed voices of the conservative Republicans, don’t seem to like John
McCain, but now that Mitt Romney has bowed out of the race they are thinking of
rallying their troops to vote for Hillary Clinton so that she will be the
Democratic nominee.  Why?  Because they think McCain has a better
chance of beating Hillary rather than Barack Obama.  And I’ll admit it
here, I voted for Barack Obama in the Illinois primary last Tuesday, partly for
the hope of what he stands for, but maybe more so for a different reason that I
try to detail during the podcast.

And as a last bid for hope, here’s hoping
Stu Gotz and I get back together on Monday for a Weekend Wrap-Up Podcast, where
I hope he likes a new song I found that I’m going to preview for him.

Here’s
for hope and

thanks for listening!

What’s New? A Podcast of: Lot’s of Super Talk About a Bowl and Voting, Bob’s House Was the Best, and I Could Be A Stripper.

For another Monday The Dude on the Right is flying solo for a weekend wrap-up podcast, but that’s okay because this podcast is all about Super. The Dude talks about the Super Bowl, about Super (thanks for asking) Tuesday, his almost being a Super Stripper, and Super Bowl commercials. And speaking of those Super Bowl commercials, he thinks the most creative of the bunch actually came during the Super Bowl Pre-Game, a spot titled “Bob’s House” from Pepsi, which The Dude thinks they actually screwed up just tad. The hell with Justin Timberlake, if Pepsi wanted to make a stir they should have run “Bob’s House” during the big game, without the pre-explaination of what it was about.

Lot’s of Super Talk About a Bowl and Voting, Bob’s House Was the Best, and I Could Be A Stripper.

The Dude on the Right

One of these Mondays Stu Gotz and I will get back together to do a proper
Weekend Wrap-Up Podcast, but I’m guessing Stu was suffering from a Super Week
hangover and couldn’t get together with me today. So, I’m flying solo

for this podcast
, but for, me it’s also about Super Week, too. Sure, I give my
brilliant analysis of the Super Bowl and the win by the New York Giants, and I
also give some deconstruction of tomorrow’s Super (thanks for asking) Tuesday elections. I also had
a chance to be a Super Stripper over the weekend, with four phone calls
requesting my services, and I don’t even tell you about my seeing a

not-Super movie
during this podcast.

And finally with the
Super Bowl comes Super Commercials and most people are spouting about how
sensitive the "Hank the Horse" Budweiser commercial was, I did laugh a lot
during the FedEx "Carrier Pigeon" and the screaming squirrel for Bridgestone
Tires commercials, and as much as I liked the inspirational story about Chester
Pitts and his playing the oboe, for me, the best commercial of the day was
buried, sadly, in the Super Bowl Pre-Game.  It was a Pepsi commercial
called "Bob’s House," which I felt the Pepsi people actually screwed up by
"explaining" it before it ran, and since
the Pepsi Link
isn’t as intuitive to get the commercial to run, after you listen to the
podcast, come back and watch the commercial through the YouTube link below
(which hopefully will still be active).
You might have to think, just a little, to get it.

Thanks for listening!

And watch the "Bob’s House" commercial here…

What’s New? A Podcast of: It’s Snowing, TV Talk, Paula Abdul is Slutty, and I Wish “Hello, Hannah Montana.”

The Dude on the Right does a podcast, but thankfully none of it has to do with Apple Webclips because with that topic he’s already wondering what he might have done. For the podcast, though, he is happy to see the snow that Chicago is getting and thinks an older lady might want to move. Some TV shows are coming back, namely “Lost” and “Survivor: Micronesia,” but The Dude is still having a problem getting excited about the Super Bowl. He was excited about Paula Abdul looking slutty on “American Idol,” but isn’t excited about the movies opening this weekend, except for one he didn’t get tickets for yet, namely “Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert in Disney Digital 3D.”
It looks like no screaming teens are in store for The Dude on the Right. There are so many things about that previous sentence that sound so wrong. Umm, let’s get back to hot chicks on “Survivor.”
