For this podcast of “Stu & The Dude’s Weekend Wrap-Up!”, Stu Gotz is back from traveling with the family in his tenement on wheels, we catch up on the Chicago Bears loss and the Chicago Cubs wins, and he saw some DVD’s, namely “Shooter” and “Invincible,” while I saw “Good Luck Chuck.” I bought new shoes which Stu tells me his method for breaking in, and we are both excited about the return of “Heroes” but were disappointed in the Christian dudette on “Survivor.” If we only had more time we could have talked about O.J. Simpson and Stu’s coffee palate.

Stu & The Dude’s Weekend Wrap-Up! A Family Outing, Watching Movies, Chicago Sports, and Breaking in Shoes.

The Dude on the Right
Stu Gotz is back from his cruising the highways and byways of these United
States with the Gotz family, in his tenement on wheels, and rejoins me for this
week’s
Weekend Wrap-Up Podcast! Stu talks a tad about his trip and his seeing "Invincible"
and "Shooter,"
while I tell Stu to stay away from "Good
Luck Chuck," even though it has tons of what Stu likes to see, namely boobs.
We also breakdown, well, I breakdown The Chicago Bears loss to the Dallas
Cowboys yesterday, and hope the Chicago Cubs can hang on and not have the worst
collapse, or at least one of them, in baseball history. Stu also tells me the
proper way to break in new running shoes, or at least his way, sadly two days
too late for the back of my heels, and we are both excited about the new TV
season starting, especially the return of "Heroes," but were disappointed in the
Christian lady who bolted from the "Welcome to Our Land" ceremony on last
week’s "Survivor."
Thanks for listening.

Stu & The Dude’s Weekend Wrap-Up! Britney’s Mom-Ass, “Shoot ‘Em Up” Talk, and Smelly Coffee.

Sneezing is a part of allergies sometimes, and Stu’s nose is all full of
allergy, but he’s muddling through it for
this podcast of "Stu & The Dude’s Weekend Wrap-Up!" Stu’s weekend wasn’t
that exciting, just finishing up his basement cleaning and being amazed at the
olfactory senses that his son possesses. Me, I regale Stu with my seeing
"Shoot ‘Em Up," but for the most part both of us caught Britney Spears on
the MTV Video Music Awards so, much like everyone else broadcasting today, we
give our take. Stu totally recognizes Ms. Spears’ mom-ass, and I almost feel
sorry for her. Sometimes I can be sympathetic, but I will say that the entire
VMA package was a complete train wreck. Even so, it’s a good thing the
VMA’s were on because I really didn’t want to talk about watching the Chicago
Bears nor the Chicago Cubs respective losses, which I also viewed over the
weekend.

Stu & The Dude’s Weekend Wrap-Up! Stu is Leaking at Both Ends and The Dude Walks 10 Miles.
By:
The Dude on the Right
Well, Labor Day Weekend has come and gone so what better way to see if our lives
are exciting than by doing a
weekend wrap-up podcast! Stu, sadly, was waylaid by a lot of things
leaking, some of them human, and one structural. The leaking did allow him
to catch up on some TV watching, including the movie "Idiocracy"
on cable, and think about re-doing the Gotz basement. He also let the Gotz
boys get a good sugar buzz at a Chicago Cubs game, and even though the Cubs
lost, the Gotz family didn’t think it was cool for the fans to boo Carlos
Zambrano.
Myself, I started my extended weekend with a viewing of "Balls of
Fury" with Stu, and continued by seeing the
Chicago Cubs win. I also caught the movie "Halloween,"
cleaned the dude-pad, and maybe more importantly, walked ten miles. No,
not all in one day. Now if I could only follow my eating plan I would
probably lose weight. Oh well.
Thanks for listening.

What’s New? A Podcast of: Senator Craig Teaches Us, Labor Day Weekend Weakens Us, and “The Biggest Loser” Strengthens Us.
The Dude on the Right didn’t get a chance to do his Thursday podcast because he was slacking off watching the Chicago Cubs beat the Milwaukee Brewers. Instead he decided to do a podcast today, on a Friday, and so, for this podcast,The Dude on the Right would like to thank Senator Craig from Idaho for teaching us about some things when we drop the kids off at the pool, is looking to eat like crap for a couple of days, and looks to get back in shape with the return of “The Biggest Loser.”
Until then it’s Labor Day Weekend, a time to eat bad food, enjoy the end of summer, and celebrate pregnant women!

As
we kick into another Labor Day Weekend in the United States, I kicked mine off
seeing the Chicago Cubs defeat the Milwaukee Brewers last night, hence the lack
of a Thursday night podcast. Thank God I went to yesterday’s game rather
than see the Cubs get shellacked by the Houston Astros this afternoon.
That means
the podcast is today, on a Friday.
But as we reflect on the meaning of
Labor Day, mostly meaning that most of us don’t work on Monday, we also have to
thank Senator Craig from Idaho who has taught us straight guys so much,
especially what not to do when we are dropping the kids off at the pool in a
public place, no matter what song might be in our head. He might have been
able to get out of this without his reported resignation tomorrow, but he forgot
one thing. My podcast tells you what that might be.
I’ve also been
working on my song parody to "Hey There Delilah" by the Plain White T’s, but it
still needs some polishing before its unveiling, hopefully next week. And
speaking of next week, what better time to get back on the exercise and diet
bandwagon than after Labor Day and in conjunction with the return (though
actually a "who is still thin" show) of "The Biggest Loser" on September 4th,
with the actual return on September 11th.
Happy Labor Day, especially you
pregnant dudettes!

What’s New? A Podcast of: Is God Mad at the Midwest, Should I Try Out for “Wheel of Fortune,” and A Dude Named Chicken?
For this podcast The Dude on the Right has his wonderings about why God is mad at the Midwest. He must be mad because why else would there be all of this flooding, rain, and wrath of God stuff? The Dude also dabs a little into Michael Vick, but wonders more if he should try and audition for “Wheel of Fortune” and if he can control his TV viewing in the fall, especially since “Survivor: China” looks to have some good-looking dudettes. The Dude loves his TV.

As a fan of storms I sort of loved a day like today, and thanks to my power not
going out, I recorded
this podcast. But today’s storms made me wonder a bit as to why God
must be upset with us in the Midwest: Maybe because of a Planned
Parenthood center opening near me, maybe because Ohio might like Hillary or
Barack, or maybe Al Gore is right and it isn’t God. God must be upset
because when Hurricane Katrina hit, well, some preachers where saying it was God
being pissed at their lifestyle, so I have to think God is causing our flooding
for some kind of reason.
Enough preaching, though, because as this podcast
also touches a little on the Michael Vick dog thing, and the fact you might know
when I win the MegaMillions, I am also being tempted to audition for "Wheel of
Fortune" when it blows through Chicago, and as fall comes, so comes TV again,
and so comes
Survivor: China, with some cute chicks and a dude nicknamed "Chicken."
Here comes the fall TV season, and I’m getting ready.
Thanks for listening.

What’s New? A Podcast of: Stu & The Dude’s Weekend Wrap-Up! Being Late Etiquette, “Rush Hour 3,” A White Trash Picnic, and More.
For this podcast of Stu & The Dude’s Weekend Wrap-Up!, The Dude on the Right had a pretty boring weekend, seeing “Rush Hour 3” and cleaning his fish tank. Stu Gotz, though, got to go on what he calls a “White Trash Picnic” in his new, used RV. The Dude also questions Stu on proper etiquette when you are running late, Stu has his idea of how the late-ee should make it up to the wait-ee, and Stu is afraid he won’t be able to control himself in a “Second Life,” so he limits his porn to the normal internet, like most of us.
Oh, and they also talk about some TV stuff.

So much to talk about and yet so little time, and with Stu Gotz around for this
podcast of our weekend wrap-up sometimes I have to pray my mother doesn’t
listen. In any case this podcast delves into something near and dear to my
heart, "being late etiquette," and how our friend Whammy doesn’t seem to have
it. I tell Stu about my seeing "Rush
Hour 3" and cleaning my fish tank. Stu, in the meantime, enchants me
with his story of the family’s white trash picnic, and we both wonder if
Wal-Mart still lets you park an RV in their lot overnight. I let Stu know
our
location in Second Life is coming along and might be ready for visitors in a
couple of weeks, but Stu is afraid of Second Life because he read a story
(involving a lawsuit – kind of like real life) where you can get virtual body
parts that let you have virtual sex, and he really just wants to limit his
perversions to searching out normal internet porn because he fears if he went to
Second Life, well, he might cross the line looking for virtual world sex.
And
would a weekend wrap-up podcast be complete without some TV talk? Of
course not, so we’ve got some talk of "Rescue Me" and how I hope I don’t see
David Duchovney’s ding-dong during "Californication."
Thanks for listening.
