It’s back in WWI, and it’s before the United States really gets
involved. But France and England need some help and some Americans
want to be that help. So come the Lafayette Escadrille, a group of dudes, for
their various reasons, wanting to help, wanting to learn to fly, and
wanting to get away, pay a debt, or just fight the enemy.
The movie is supposed to be inspired by the Lafayette Escadrille,
and I’m sure some Hollywood liberties were taken with the movie, but
it does look like a decent September release, about a war no one
here really remembers, and will be filled with inspiration, sadness,
and learning a few more things about life.
It looks like a good flick and I’m a fan of Jean Reno so I’ll try
to make it.
