A Movie Preview |

Here’s the quick story: Actors and actresses are making a goofy film
called “Home for Purim,” and things look all over the place, meaning
things are looking bad. Suddenly, on the internet, there starts a
buzz that some of them might be making Academy Award nominated
performances, and suddenly there are rewrites, egos, and of course,
because this is a Christopher Guest film, hilarity will ensue.
Sometimes you will go and see a movie just because of who is
making it, and for me, this is one of those movies. I will admit I
haven’t seen all of the movies he has directed or written (fine, I
haven’t seen “Waiting for Guffman” nor “This is Spinal Tap,”) but
“Best in Show” and “A Mighty Wind” are favorites of mine, so I’ll
do my best to be there for “For Your Consideration.”
