The first trailer was kinda vague, but then the better trailer came. The story isn’t simple, but I’ll try to sum things up. McConaughey is Fenton, one of the sons of a Dad (Bill Paxton). Dad thinks he has been chosen to kill people who he thinks are demons. Now Fenton is grown up and there is a killer out there labeling himself as “God’s Hands.” Fenton thinks it is his brother, he goes to the cops but they really don’t believe him, and this is a movie where it looks like things will go from present day to flashbacks of growing up as a child with a father dead set on killing what he thinks are “bad” people.

McConaughey does a really good job sometimes in his acting, sometimes not so great, but this seems like a role that will suit him well. This one looks to have some good suspense, some devious killings, and that whole religious overtone. It has a lot of potential and I hope it lives up to it, and has the potential for some good plot twists. I’m hoping to be there when it opens.

That’s it for this preview! I’m The Dude on the Right!! L8R!!!
