David Strathairn plays a Pulitzer Prize winning photojournalist. He’s
getting a little tired of being out in the action, but takes one last
assignment. When word comes that he is missing and presumed dead, Andie McDowell won’t believe
it. So, what is a loving wife to do? Well
she embarks into the same war-ridden hell-hole that sucked up her
husband. She convinces some of Harrison’s friends and colleagues to
come along, and they find out how much someone can really love
someone, as well as getting to see war action like they really never
wanted to.
This looks to be a pretty good thriller. It has already been
released about a year ago over in Europe and most people seemed to
have liked it. If it wasn't for reading a couple of other
people's comments, mostly that the movie is shocking, disturbing, and
will leave you almost in disbelief, I'd be a little more iffy on this
one. But how can you stay away from talk like that?
