There are a lot of rumors about Disney having to do some creative
editing because of Linday Lohan's assets, but who cares because this
movie actually looks cute.Look, I'm a huge Herbie fan, growing up
on the cute VW Beetle back in my younger days, so I get a little
apprehensive when things from my childhood get remade. But this
one puts Herbie in NASCAR, and as much as it can't happen (you don't
see too many VW Beetles out on the NASCAR track), the story looks fun,
especially for the kids, and that is what Herbie is about, fun for
kids, yet still being able to keep the parents awake, and maybe even
laugh a little, in the theater.
Even having to deal with a theater loaded with youngins, I'm hoping
this Herbie keeps me entertained and reminiscing about my youngin days
myself. It also has the world's greatest actor, Michael Keaton,
so I'm curious to see what he's up to these days.
Lots of potential, I hope I'm not let down.
