We've all been waiting for it, a feature film with Hayden Panettiere as the lead. Okay, maybe we all haven't been waiting for it, but the cheerleader from "Heroes" gets a movie, and in it she plays the popular girl in high school - go figure. Well, the valedictorian-dude digs her and decides that he should profess his love for her at graduation. Low and behold, she ends up hanging out with him. So, of course, the popular girl will teach the dorky dude to have fun, you get the jock-ROTC type who wants to break him in half, and teen hilarity will ensue.
"I Love You, Beth Cooper" reminds me of most every other nerd/popular girl teen movie that has been made in the past 20 years, but sadly, I've like most of them so I wouldn't be surprised if I like this one, too. The tricky part will be trying to convince my BFF to come with me to see it.
