What do you go and see when you wanted to see "Spider-Man 3"
but it is sold out? I'm guessing the Warner Bros.
folks are hoping you decide on seeing "Lucky You" since it
opens the same weekend.Eric Bana is Huck. Drew Barrymore is Billie. And Robert Duvall is
L.C. Huck finds a girl, Billie, and Billie finds out that Huck makes
a living by gambling. Most of the Huck's living comes from poker, but Huck is
always up for a fun bet. Huck seems to be on a tear, with the same
personal problems any couple in love might find themselves in, and
to keep stirring the pot his dad, L.C. enters the picture. Huck
isn’t too fond of dear old dad, and dad seems a tad disappointed in
how Huck is running, or maybe ruining his life. And it seems to all
come to a head at the “World Series of Poker” tournament where
history might just be made with father and son at the final table.
Looks like a decent look at weird relationships, but aren’t most
of them. I’m a fan of Robert Duvall and Eric Bana, and Drew
Barrymore is nice on the eyes, so I’ll try to catch this even if the
“poker” story seems to be trying to keep it from being a
dudette-flick.
