Gosh, I really want this to be funny, but pretty much it
is just looking like Mike Myers is reincarnating Austin
Powers as an Indian guru named Pitka, complete with the same
facial expressions, the same jokes, and Verne Troyer along
for the ride. As Pitka he sees a way to make a lot of money
in the United States, especially if he can help hockey star
Darren (Romany Malco) reconcile with his wife. Jessica Alba
is also in the movie, but we know she still won't get naked,
but the person who seems to get the most laughs during the
trailer is, oddly enough, Justin Timberlake, playing a
hockey player who is moving in on Darren's woman.
I'll probably see this movie anyway, but part of me
almost wishes Mike Myers would have spent his time making a
good sequel in the Austin Powers' franchise.
