Well, it looks like Chris Rock will again be involved in a movie that
will gross over a hundred million dollars. Yes, he has been in movies
that big before, although most of you probably forgot about those. Let
me refresh your memory – He was in
“Lethal Weapon 4” as Detective
Butters and he voiced Rodney in “Doctor Dolittle.” What fantastic role
is Chris Rock playing this time that will once again transform him to
stardom? He plays the voice of a zebra in a “Madagascar,” brought to
us by the “Shrek” people.
From the trailer “Madagascar” tells the story of a bunch of animals
at the city zoo who decide they want to break out of the zoo and see
life in the real world. Another synopsis gives another side to the
story, that the animal friends in the zoo break out to look for
their missing friend, find themselves on a boat, end up on the island
of Madagascar, and find out what life in the wild is really like.
Either way, the animals look like a lot of fun, the kids should get a
kick out of the movie, and the Dreamworks Animation folks, and Chris
Rock, should have a hit on their hands.
