Margot at the Wedding
A Movie Preview |

You've gotta love when movie nomination season rolls
around because a slew of films come out that most dudes have
absolutely no interest in seeing. "Margot at the Wedding" is
probably one of those movies, especially since the publicity
synopsis touts all of the award nominations and award awards
people involved with the movie have gotten. The hope for you
dudes is "Margot at the Wedding" is rated R for sexual
content, so if you're lady wants to drag you along,
hopefully there is something for you.For this movie we get Pauline (Jennifer Jason Leigh).
She's getting married to Malcolm (Jack Black in a movie it
looks like he is hoping will allow him to have something
attached like "blah, blah, blah winner," or "blah, blah,
blah nominee" for the rest of his films) who's an artist.
But Margot (Nicole Kidman), Pauline's sister, decides to
come to the wedding and creates all kinds of crap when she
works to convince Pauline that Malcolm is not the man for
her.
And then, of course, things get touchy-feely, should
Pauline get married, is Malcolm a good dude, and
dysfunctional families always help to make a wedding
interesting.
I can't say I'm looking to run out and catch this movie,
but in the artsy way, it does look like a film to let
talented actors show their stuff.
That's it for this preview! I'm The Dude on the Right!!
