A Preview by
The Dude on the Right
Chiyo’s not have a good life so far. She’s nine years old, living in a poor fishing town and gets sold to a geisha house. Things don’t go too well after the sale, as her new owners pretty much treat her like crap. Even though she’s treated like crap, it’s still evident that she’s a looker. Then her savior comes, in the likeness of a rival geisha, Mameha. Now it’s time for Chiyo to be trained in the world of the geisha, changes her name to Sayuri, and everything is now going well for her, except, well, World War II happening.

I can’t say this movie really excites me, but it does look like a well made movie, looks good, and the story looks kinda like a Cinderella-type of thing, sort of, I guess. I’ll have to see what else is going on when this opens, but it still looks like a good movie at this point, nonetheless.

That’s it for this preview! I’m The Dude on the Right!! L8R!!!
