A Movie Preview |

The question everyone has is “Do they really need to make a re-make
of the “Poseidon Adventure.” My guess, like most films, is probably
not, but the only thing the filmmakers have going for them is the
change in technology to make things cooler. That, and if they can
get a PG-13 rating, well, most none of this years teens will have
ever seen the original, will never probably watch it, and might just
try to catch this one on an afternoon.
The trailer does look kind of cool, but it has standard stories
of dads looking for their daughters, who happened to be engaged but
didn’t tell dad, and other wacky passengers looking for a way out of
a ship turned upside down.
I know it won’t be a “Titanic,” and really, a remake doesn’t need
to be made, but it might be a fun trip to the movies in the middle
of May before the summer season starts.
Nothing looks great, but might just be a fun getaway.
