It’s now the near future, and the near future is a mess.
But that’s the least of the problems. It turns out that millions of
years ago there actually were fire-breathing dragons ruling the earth.
Sadly one or a few of them get uncovered/discovered, and before we
know it, they’re pretty much ruling the earth again. But then the
genius humans figure out that if it bleeds, we can kill it, we just
have to stay far enough away so we don’t get burned to a crisp (kinda
hard to do when these things can fly). Anyway, Matthew McConaughey is
Denton Van Zan. He not only realizes that since they bleed, we can
kill them, but he also figured out that they came from England, and
therein lies the secret to saving the human race.
Quite honestly this looks like a dumb movie although the effects of
the dragons looks pretty cool. I’m on a wait and see mode on this one.
