A horrible virus has been uncorked in the sub-basement of a huge
corporation. The supercomputer has quarantined the mutated workers,
but it’s up to a group of commandoes, led by Milla Jovovich, to get to the
supercomputer, maybe find the antivirus, and save the world.
The movie is patterned after a video game, and quite honestly, a
lot of video games, if you complete the entire walk-through, play out
like a decent action movie. Jovovich is great as a bad-ass, like her
role in “The Fifth Element,” but then she went and did
“The Messenger”
where she didn’t do that great a job. This one looks to be pretty
action-filled, and I’ll be looking forward to it.
