A Review by
The Dude on the Right
In the "I’m to easily amused" category of movie comes "Say It Isn’t So" with Chris Klein and Heather Graham. Let’s get right to it.

Chris Klein plays Gilly, an animal shelter caretaker who is unlucky in love. Enter Josephine (Graham), a horrible hairdresser that every guy in town will go to simply because she is hot (what’s more important – a good haircut or getting your hair cut by a hot chick?). Well, Gilly investigates, gets his hair and ear cut, and it’s love at first site, or maybe first slice! Anyway, they are in love and all is going well except Valdine (Sally Field), Josephine’s mom, doesn’t want Jo to marry Gilly.

As the story goes, well, paperwork arises that Jo’s parents are actually Gilly’s parents (he’s an orphan), Gilly becomes the laughing stock of the town for sleeping with his sister, and Jo runs off to find her old boyfriend. Of course things don’t end there, nope. Gilly eventually finds out that he isn’t Jo’s sister so he is off to find her, but not without finding the next comic element of the movie, Dig (Orlando Jones), a pilot with no legs. Meanwhile, Valdine and the family are off to sidetrack Gilly so they can be a part of the rich family that Jo is marrying into. Gross jokes (Gilly having his hand stuck up a steer’s ass trying to get his engagement ring back) ensue, as do tasteless ones (Gillly’s at dinner with some neighbors and the daughter lifts her shirt to reveal two, huge nipple rings), as do some rather funny ones, but don’t get me wrong, they aren’t going to make you work for them, they just come at you and you will either be disgusted or find "Say It Isn’t So" pretty funny.

I’ll leave this review at that and give "Say It Isn’t So" 2 ½ stars out of 5. Again it is full of juvenile and gross humor and I found it pretty funny as did The Dude on the Left and Stu Gotz. Maybe we just need to act our age.

That’s it for this one! I’m The Dude on the Right!! L8R!!!
