Hey, someone give me a line in the movie ad because
"Serendipity" is the perfect date movie. I'm already
saying that even though all I've seen is the trailer, so if anyone
else says it's the perfect date movie, well, they stole that line
from me. Anyway, what the trailer shows is this...
So, you meet this hot chick, the day is going well, it's
the end of the night and you have it in your head that this is the
only girl you want to spend your life with. She is a girl destined
on fate and when she tries to give you her name and number, well,
wouldn't you know it, a gust of wind blows it away. So this hot
chick decides that she will write her name and phone number in a
book and if it is fate that you will get together, well, somehow you will
find the book. Guess what, you find the book only you're ready to
get married to someone else, you start to look for Sara (Beckinsale),
she starts to look for you, and the only question really is if you
will both find each other again before you get married.
This has romantic comedy written all over it, it's got John
Cusack and Kate Beckinsale, and will most likely be labeled by many
other critics as "the perfect date movie." But, I said it
first even if the movie sucks and ends up being about a crazed
killer. We'll wait and see, but Kate
Beckensale is hot so I'll be there anyway.
