Two of my favorite actresses in the
likes of Julia Roberts and Susan Sarandon, and one of my
favorite actors, Ed Harris, in a movie about, well, a
stepmom. Susan and Ed got divorced, now Julia and Ed are
together. So, Julia is the stepmom who just can't win over
the kids, and Susan is who the kids seem they will always
consider mom.
The film looks to have the "pull on your heartstrings"
with a family story of kids not knowing who, or if, they
should like more - mom or stepmom. It's from the same people
who brought "Mrs. Doubtfire," but it looks to be more
dramatic.
It opens Christmas Day, and hopefully will be funny
enough to bring the kids to, but looks to have a more
serious/sad side to it than "Mrs. Doubtfire." That's it for this
