There’s this dude who owns a magical tuxedo, but he dies. He tells
Jackie Chan to wear the tuxedo and all of the sudden he is some great
crime-fighter. In a sort of spoof of James Bond, you know, he’s always
wearing a tuxedo, but, well, this tuxedo has powers. Suddenly Jackie
Chan, the goof-ball that he is, is now a super-duper secret agent.
Man.
This one looks kinda cute, and Jackie Chan is usually funny is this
type of film where he kinda looks clueless but still kicks ass. Hewitt
won’t get naked, but she always looks kinda cute, too.
There’s potential for fun here, but can it last for the length of a
movie when the jokes have already been done? I hope this one doesn’t
fall on its face because as much as I love Jackie Chan, I just hope
the jokes about his English, his pratfall stunts, and him saving the
day aren’t getting old.
I’ll see this one but still have some reservations about it.
