Let’s add some more names to the “how many degrees” of Kevin Bacon
game. Anyway, in this one Bacon and Love are the bad people. Simply
put, they kidnap the kid of upper-class parents while the parents are
on vacation, demand a ransom, and things are cut and dry. But this
time they messed with the wrong people. Charlize is having none of
this, I read somewhere that the kidnapped daughter is asthmatic, and
suddenly the simplest of plans gets discombobulated.
Kevin Bacon is usually a great bad guy, and this movie has – Charlize Theron, one of my all time favorites, and yes, even Courtney
Love, who I still think has some of the most beautiful eyes out there
on a lady. This looks to be a decent thriller, with some chases and
people trying to save their daughter. With the two ladies, I’m
definitely there, and Kevin Bacon is a plus because he usually never
blows a role.
