So here’s Nicolas Cage in a mystical movie. What a
stretch? Anyway, the trailer gives us Nicolas Cage as Edward. He
witnesses a crash, tries to save a little girl, but can’t. Then he’s
investigating a missing girl, who looks a lot like the girl in the
crash, and the woman who asks him to investigate tells him not to
believe anything he sees.
Edward finds himself on a weird island,
that seems to have weird secrets, and somehow Edward has to figure
all of this out and maybe find the girl.
The movie doesn’t look that great, but Nicolas Cage usually does
a decent job at whatever role he plays. This one, though, looks a
little too wacky for even him, but we’ll see. Sometimes a movie
about a pagan community can be fun, if done right.
