The plus sides of this movie: It's got Judd Apatow producing; it's got Harold Ramis directing; it's got Jack Black and McLovin. The minus side of this movie: It looks pretty stupid.
Okay, so you get the time of the way-early years, and who better to be in way-early years than Jack Black and Michael Cera? They get booted from their village so now they are on a journey across the countryside and hilarity is supposed to ensue. Fine, the trailer does have some funny jokes in it, but it really has a "History of the World: Part 1" feel to it, and if you don't know what that is, be sure to put it on your Netflix queue to catch some Mel Brooks' goodness. Maybe the good thing is that the trailer doesn't show too much, leaving the funny for the actual movie. That's it for this preview! I'm The Dude on the Right!! L8R!!! |
