The hometown hero's return to kick some ass. This was the one band that was probably big enough to play the main stage (in popularity I mean, there's only two of them), but I think it was a better choice to put them on the second stage. They were definitely the crowd favorite. The mosh pit engulfed the entire area around the stage within two songs. I bid Cooter a hasty goodbye as he headed to crowd-surf while I found a little saner spot stage left. They cranked through all their hits including a way cool version "All the Kids are Right". I've seen them and I still don't know how two guys can make all that music.

Again, ditto what he said. Coming off of the disappointment of Silverchair, I was really looking forward to Local H. I remember seeing them before and wondering how two dudes can kick so much ass, and after seeing them again I still wonder the same. Here's a band that should be getting more airplay than they are getting, should be getting more support than they are, but they got the crowd nearly insane.
